Our story began in 1974 when Steven E. Post founded a tax & accounting practice in his hometown of Auburn, Indiana.  Growing up as a star basketball player in the area and eventually bringing his skills to Georgia Tech where he had a successful playing career, Steve had a strong reputation of smarts and toughness.  His hard work off the court dedicating himself to others quickly earned him status as a Trusted Adviser in the community for consultation on tax efficient strategies and a unique approach to tax planning.

After a few years of consulting clients by working together with their financial adviser to help optimize tax efficient investment strategies, Steve realized he could provide a better service at lower fees for his clients by adding investment advisory services to his growing business.  By focusing on an income-based approach to investing, the investment firm expanded rapidly through word of mouth by clients that had successfully achieved retirement.

In 2013, the investment firm registered with the SEC as a Registered Investment Adviser under the name Steven E. Post, LLC with approximately $70 million in assets under management.  As the firm continued to grow and new partners joined, our name was changed to Pathway Financial Advisers, LLC in 2020 to carry on the founding vision of the firm which is to help our clients navigate through their financial pathway in life.

 

Today, Pathway Financial Advisers manages over $351 million in investment assets.  The 45 year history of our firm has been and will always be as a fiduciary duty to our clients and their best interests.
