Joel brings a unique perspective to the Investment firm.  With a background of managing one of the largest beverage distributing companies in the Midwest, he understands firsthand how to operate a successful business.  As the third generation owner of DeKalb Distributing, he learned from his father and grandfather the importance of taking care of people. 

 

After the sale of the family business, Joel briefly tested retirement himself where he dedicated his time to stock market investing.  This passion led to a second career path when he obtained his Series 65 and joined Steve Post's investment advisory firm in 2013.  Joel has made numerous technology enhancements for the firm and enjoys designing investment portfolios for clients.

A native of Waterloo, IN, Joel is married to his wife Jeri.  They are blessed to have three grown children and five grandchildren.  Outside of the office, Joel enjoys golfing with friends and making dust in his woodworking shop.
